My favorite magazine

My favorite magazine is Non-no. It is a fashion magazine for young women. When I was a high school student, I bought it for the first time. Now, I don't buy it every month. I usually see it in the library. I can know present fashion only I can see it. Also, I have taken courses of librarian since this April. A teacher taught us that situation of the publishing. She said to us, "The publishing also struggle under the weight of a sluggish economy, so they add appendixes to books." If you go to a book store, some magazines that are added appendixes are arrayed. I knew that publishing companies are working out a strategy to raise boost sales. I will also see the magazine in the next year. (130 words)

My favorite chewing gum

My favorite chewing gum is XYLITOL the best. I can eat the gum of some flavors.　Two months ago, I found a cavity in my mouth. I was so sad because I don't like to go to a dental office. I fell sick when a dentist looks at my teeth. I went there for the first time when I was about three years old. At that time, I liked to go there so much. I was pleased to go there. When I was a junior high school student, I went there to receive medical treatments. Then, I felt sick for the first time. In this month, I noticed that the cavity was lost. I was so happy, but I may have some cavities, so I will go three to receive as dental examination. I chew the gum to prevent cavity. (139 words)

My favorite smell

My favorite smells are citrus scents and chamomile scent. I hadn’t soaked in a bathtub before because I became feel tired of taking a bath. I had not taken a bath since I had studied at a preparatory school when I was a junior high school student. When I was a high school student, I scarcely took a bath, so my hands and feet were getting cold. In began to take a bath everyday in this month to improve my body condition. My mom bought a box of bobbles bathes. There are four scents, preach, rose, flower of orange and chamomile. I like chamomile scent the best. I decided to take a bath at least for fifteen minutes. Princess Diana

I read "Princess Diana". Diana was born on 1th July in 1961 as Frances and Johnnie Spencer's third daughter. Her mother, Frances ran away with a man, Peter Shand Kydd when Diana was only six years old. Diana has an little brother, Charles. She and He were a loving brother and sister.When her parents separated, her grandma looked after her. But she was so kind, she died in 1972. In her schooldays, she liked English and painting. They met at a county house party for the first time when Diana was sixteen years old. Her sister, Jane married to Robert Fellowes, the Queen's personal secretary. While Diana spent busy days as princess of Charles, she began to work with charities. She began to meet people with terrible illnesses like AIDS. At that time, many people thought they could catch ALDS by touching someone. Diana held the hand of a man with AIDS. She showed that the view wasn’t true. After that she began to look too thin even before she marries. She had an eating illness. Even though her body condition was bad, Charles was giving Camilla presents and telephoned her privately. The mother of her grandmother also had a royal lover, King Edward VII. She and he were the same age. When she was young, she has married to Andrew Parker-Bowles. When Charles and Diana were on holiday in Switzerland with a group of friends, snow came down from the mountains and killed Hugh Lindsay who is one of their best friends. She is Sarah, and she and Lindsay got married few months and she was having a baby. And then Diana decided to help herself and she went to see a special doctor with her eating illness. In six months, the doctor visited her every week and her body condition recovered.

On 29th March in 1992, her father died. She came back to England from Austria. Prince Charles also came back there with her, but she went to her father’s funeral alone. After that she went together with two men. In 1993, recordings of phone conversations between Charles and Camilla appeared. They were still lovers. After Charles and Diana visited Korea, they were separating.
She took two sons to visit sick people in hospitals because she thought they need to understand some of the country’s problems. He went to Eton, one of the top schools in the country. He gave her the idea that selling a lot of her dresses for charity. She openly talked to reporter Martin Bashir about her life. In 1994, she visited India. She became friends with Mother Teresa who was famous for her work that to help poor people. In 1997, she has a new boyfriend, Dodi Al Fayed who was forty-two years old and a film-maker. They spent holidays. They were chased by the paparazzi. While they went back to Dodi’s house, the car hit a wall. The crash killed him and the driver, Henri Paul soon. The bodyguard, Trevor Rees-Jones was alive. Diana was very badly hurt and she was taken to a hospital, but she died. Her funeral was on Saturday, 6th September in 1997. Thousands of bunches of flowers were offered outside the Kensington palace by a lot of people. The look of the funeral was projected on a bug screen and many people watched.

I am strongly impressed by Diana. Her spirit of charity was so excellent. If I think I want to help people, putting the idea into practice is difficult. She is my respected woman. (793 words)

Cold

It's a cold day!! I didn't want to get up from my bed in this morning. I have had a sore throat. My mom also has a sore throat. On 17th December, I went to go to the ear, nose and throat department. I got some medicines, but I didn't take it because I thought that the symptoms of allergic inflammation of the mucous membrane. In the before night, I began to have a sore throat. December 18th

I went to a Chinese noodle shop, Niboraya with Miki and Shiori. Afetr they took a supplementary lecture, we arranged to meet at the bus stop of the Tsuruya. I went there by walking. The noodle was so delicious. I added dried bonito in thee noodle. It is also delicious. After we finished to eat it, we went to a beauty salon to decide on a coming-of-age ceremony. I'm looking forward to go to the ceremony, but I must go to the beauty salon at five am in the day. Before the night, I will go bed earlier. After we got out the beauty salon, we went to Parco. We looked many clothes in many shops and we went to News. Shiori bought a jacket. (125 words)

My favorite park

My favorite park is Hachiouji Chuou Park the best. It is so large and good. I think that you don't know where it is. When I was a child, I played with my friends at the park. It has a large ground. When I was about six years old, I ran with my friends in a short time. After few minutes, I was chased by a big dog that was a Labrador retriever. I was afraid, so I continued to run about for two minutes. An owner of the dog said to me, "My dog wants to play with you, so it chases you. Stop." And I heard that, I stopped to run. It took a near view of me. In me blog, I said that I like Labrador retrievers the best. Taking advantage of the memory, I have come to like Labrador retrievers. (145 words)

December 10th

I went to the Luther college to see volunteer with Misato on Friday. After I took two classes, I ate my lunch and I did my homework in the library. After Misato took class of the fifth period, we went there. After we finished to see it, we went Joyfull!! We ate dinner and we talked about a lot of things. At ten thirty, we left there. When we walk a road, Misato noticed that a teacher of linguistic stood up next to a bus stop. We talked a short time and we went a other bus stop. In 1910, Coco Chanel opened her first shop in Paris when she was only twenty-seven years old. After she graduated from a school, she worked as a dressmaker in a short period. After that, she tried to become a singer in a nightclub. The name of the nightclub was ‘Coco’. She was given the name. She had many friends and one of them was a big black moustache, Boy Capel. As a result, her parents agreed that she would study literature at a university in Tokyo. Before she graduated from the school, she had fallen in love with Ken Mori who was rich. His family run a factory that made cloth. Soon, they married. She had shops in Japan and Paris and so on. She is the Japanese designer to become an international success.
Anita Roddick began to run The Body Shop in 1976. She thought that business is not just about making money and she tried to sell cosmetics cheaply and simply. She had met Gordon Roddick and she married to him. They had two daughters, but Gordon didn’t have a regular job. Because they didn’t have money enough, they began to go into the hotel business and next Roddick decided to buy a restaurant. But the business of restaurant was so hard. Also, he had a dream of a riding a horse from Buenos Aires to New York. He left his family for two years and Anita decided to go into new business. The Body Shop was opening somewhere. In 1984, she and Gordon decided to sell shares in the company at the London Stock Exchange because The Body Shop needed more money to continue grow. After eight years, when she was forty-two years old, she was a millionaire. She made not only a lot of money but also she ran campaigns to save rare animals and to help people that had been wrongly put in prison. Also, she ran a campaign to stop the burning of trees in the forests of Brazil.
Oprah Winfrey was born in poor family and she had had a tough childhood. In the early 1970s, she worked as a newsreader for small radio and TV stations in the south of the U.S. In January 1984, her talk show started and it was a hit immediately. One day, she got a call from Steven Spielberg. It was a request to perform in a film, “The Color Purple”. She wanted to perform in it, so she was ready to leave her job with TV station. But Jeffrey Jacobs who was a her manager had other ideas. It was the way that give her a break of several weeks, so she was able to work on The Color Purple. Her business continued to expand in many kinds of areas of the entertainment industry. She has become richer and richer. I think that she will become American’s first black billionaire.
Since the middle of the 1980s, Madonna had been the world’s top female star. In 1978, when she was nineteen-year-old, she went to New York City. She wanted to be rich and a star. But she grew up in ordinary family in Pontiac in Michigan and she had only thirty-five dollars in her purse. An American TV company called MTV (Music Television) began to broadcast pop videos to teenagers and young people across the U.S. At that time, Freddy Demann was thought that the best manager in the pop music industry. She found out his address and walked straight in to his office and performed her songs in front of him. He and she made a hit. It was her second song, “Holiday”. Also, he gave her an opportunity to act in a Hollywood film. In addition, she had used her success to build a large international company that makes big profits.

My schedule

I am going to Yume-town hikarinomori by train on Wednesday in this week. On 24th November, I tried to go to Suizenji station. But I couldn't find it. I walked in a area of Oe and Suizenji for about four minutes. After that, I went to go to downtown by bus. I want to go there. (56 words)

Speaking class

I interviewed two classmates in Speaking class in four period.

First, I interviewed Ayano. She recommended Java Java. It is a shop of karaoke. If we pay ten yen every each hour, we can sing songs there. In addition, if we pay three hundreds yen at first, we drink soft drink. The shop open at one p.m. It is in Yatsushiro City.

Next, Narisa taught me place Hisashi recommend. It is MacDonald's fast-food restaurant. We can eat a hamburger, an apple pie and a small size drink only one hundred yen. He usually macs in Hakuzan and Shimo to-ri. We can get full within five hundreds yen and there are a wireless LAN in Macs.

At last, I recommend Parco. It's a clothes shop. We can look at a lot of clothes and we find the present fashion. And we can go there easy because the shop is in downtown. Whenever I go there, I go to Lowrys Farm, Retro Girl and Monkey Banana. A price of a T-shirt is about two thousands yen and a price of skirt is about three thousands yen. I went shopping at Yume-town with my mom on Sunday. I bought boots. I have checked it since two weeks ago. And I looked at some coats in many shops. I didn't have my favorites, so I am going to downtown on Tuesday. In this morning, I got up at six and I made my lunch. My lunch is so easy. I I warmed up some frozen foods and I packed my lunch box. Yesterday, my mom bought some frozen foods at Yume-town, so that were so useful. I will make my lunch now and then.

On last Saturday, after I finished classes, I went to the clothes reform store to receive my clothes. I received it, and I was riding on my bicycle. At that time, I was asked the way to the Suizenji Park by a couple. Although I knew the way, I couldn't explain it well. So, I went there with them. They are from France. I have many kindergarten memories. When I was four years old、I began to go to a kindergarten with my friend who lived in same housing complex. After a year, I experienced Otomari-upbringing. Hisashi has broken bones of his lower back. He might injure it when he played basketball.

Eri has never ridden on the Shinkansen. I also have never ridden on it. Because I'm going to Kyoto in my school days, I want to go there by the Shinkansen.

Megumu didn't eat breakfast this mornig. She over slept this mornig. I also over slept. I must get up by eight at the latest but I got up at eight ten this mornig. I will go to bed twelve.

Keito likes to drink Japanese sake. I also like to Japanese sake. His favorite Japanese sake is "Reizan". Until two months, I worked part-time jobs at a wedding hall as a service stuff. In a weding celebrations, Black Kirishima was ordered by many guests.

Ayano dosn't like natto because she hates the taste and smell. I like normal natto better than ground and fermented natto.

Megumu's father is a history teacher and her mother also is music teacher. She wants to try to work as a cook once. And if she doesn't have to think about money, she want to be a singer. Because she likes Superfly, I want talk about Superfly.

Yuuki's father works in a television station as a stuff. His father is a houceworker. He wants to try to work as a hotel employee once. And if he doesn't have to think about money, he wants to light work.

Keito's father works in a factry and his mother is a caregiver. He wants to try to work at a garbage disposal once because he wants to ride on a car that employees can carry garbages!! ha ha ha! And if she doen't have to think about money, he wants to be a singer.

Monami's father works at Honda and her mother works part-time jobs at home-center. She wants to try to work as a queen because she wants to manage money of her country!!!!! a ha ha!

And if she doesn't have to think about money, she wants to be a mechanic.

I had two classes, the International society and Japan and the History of American literatures. After I took those, I did a homework of Reading 4 in the library. Because I had to send a file via e-mail, I moved the E-campus center. I wasted time printing handouts, the bus left. After I finished that, I went to a store that can make over clothes. I bought a dress before, but it is so long for me. After that I got on a streetcar line and I went to Daiei. It was refurbished. I think that Michelle is so popular among many people. Do you know that a twins played Michelle in it? The twins are Olsen sisters. Why was Michelle played by two girls? Rescue!

I read “Rescue!”. Biff and Wilf are in Biff’s room and Wilf blows soap bubbles. Just at that moment, the magic key is glowing.

They stand up on a flat rocky land. Suddenly, Wilf finds a plane flying over there. The plane is going to land there. Biff and Wilf are looking at it. The pilot makes a bad landing, so Biff and Wilf run up to the pilot. The plane breaks in a twinkling. The pilot is Princess Aisha. Before, the children had met her in another adventure. She comes there to rescue he sister, Lisa. Lisa has been kidnapped. The children help her. After that, they come to a steep precipice. First, Aisha climbs up with a rope. Next, Biff climbs up and Wilf climbs up. Wilf is so frightened. Finally, they come to a fort high up on a precipice. Aisha imitates the call of a bird. Then, someone in the fort someone wave from a window. It’s Lisa and Lisa hears Aisha’s voice.

They go to the fort and they find Lisa. She waits them from the window. Aisha throws up the rope up to Lisa. At first, Lisa couldn’t get it. The second time, she could get it!! The children oversee the circumference of the fort.
At last, Lisa is rescued by them. At that time, Wilf finds that four men come there. Biff gets into a panic. Then, Wilf remembers that he brings bubble kit. While he is blowing soap bubbles behind the wall, Aisha, Lisa and Biff run with soft. The men are get distracted. Then, they run and they ride on a lorry. On the lorry, there are many tires. The men chase them. Lisa and the children toss the tires from the lorry. They can escape them. Aisha drives the lorry on dangerous road. A car inverting is in a river that facing the dangerous road. Suddenly, a landslide occurred. But Aisha try to stop the lorry, it begins to slide down into the gorge. It stops on the edge of the river. Then, the four men are coming from behind. Wilf finds inner tubes in the back of the lorry. Aisha inflates the tubes and they each sit on one tube on the river. In the lower of the stream, the flow of water is rapid. They go past a narrow gorge. The tubes buck and bump.

Finally, they float into placid water. A boat is coming. People of the district are so kind. They take Aisha and Lisa to their palace. Wilf gives Lisa the bubble kit. Then, the magic key begins to glow. They come back Biff’s house and Chip comes. In their conversation, Biff uses Aisha’s favorite phrase. It is “~ think of something”.

My favorite sweet

My favorite sweets are chocolate snacks, ice creams and cakes. Although many chocolate snacks are sold in a lot of stores, I like Galbo ball the best. It is so good. When I am tired, I can eat a box of Galbo ball alone. And I lke ice creams, especially, I like Black mont blanc. It's so nice. I have never ever gotten a winning number. In addition, I like cakes. But I like chocolate cakes, I like fruits tarts the best because I can eat some fruits. A rich flavor of cream match sourness of fruits. Now, I want to eat a Mont blanc. My favorite soups are minestrone, corn soup and miso soup. All my family members like minestrone, so my mum cooks it at frequent. Probably, I also am able to cook it. After I finished it, I got on a bus and I went to the Kotsu-Center. In Habita, there are many kinds of goods. Recently, I want a lot of things. (99 words)

My favorite shopping place is Parco. There are so many kinds of clothes shops in Parco. I like Lowrys Farm, Monkey Banana, Retro Girl and Medi Store. Four shops are on the seventh floor. In Medi Store, there are many accessories and so on. I bought a badge in September. Asami also bought a wrist watch that was so cute because the dial plate was colorful. The others are clothes shops. Clothes in Lowrys Farm are appeared in many fashion magazines frequently. The bag of Monkey Banana is so cute, so I use it in normal life. In Retro Girl, clothes are sold cheap. In this winter, I want gloves. Because I have a tendency to feel cold, I am in need of woolen gloves.

I like many kinds of flowers so much. Especially, my favorite flowers are cherry blossoms, a sunflower and a common cosmos. In every spring, we can see cherry blossoms in full bloom everywhere in Japan. I have many memories of cherry blossoms. When I was a kindergarten, I went out to see cherry blossoms at the Kumamoto Castle with my family. Although I have ever seen those at many places, I like to see those at the Kumamoto Castle the best. And I like a sunflower. When I look at a sunflower, it lifts my spirit. If I feel be down low and a sunflower is mot in bloom, I find clear pictures of a sunflower on the Internet. If I live alone, I want to decorate with some flowers in my house. (133 words)

I interviewed two girls in Speaking 4 class on Monday, so I will introduce them.

First, I interviewed Hiromi N. At the beginning of August, she went to Minamata with her best friend. Hiromi and her best friend went to the same high school. They went to a tavern which is Megumu works. In addition, they went to a beach, but Hiromi didn't swim. She was so tired because she drove her car all the times. In this summer vacation, she studied Japanese from TV program.

Next, I interviewed Narisa Y. She went to Thai land from August 16th to 22th with her sisters. She met Kie who was a international student of this university and they went to Kie's university, shopping and the Emerald temple with Kie's friends. It is a temple of magnificent slender. October 17th

I went to go shopping at Yume-town Hamasen yesterday. First, I bought pumps in Honeys in the second floor. Next, I looked for a lot of clothes shops. I found a punts, but I didn't buy it. At last I bought an alcoholic drink of mixed with soda water and soda pop for the first time. After I came back, I drunk it. But it was so delicious, I got drunk on it. Today, I am going to go to Daiei to buy gloves after Reading 4 class will be finished. (91 words)

My favorite drinks

My favorite drinks are C1000 takeda, Acerola water, soda pops, Coca-Cola and beers. I had just written C1000 takeda, so I will introduce others. Although there are many kinds of drinks in Japan, I like sour or carbonated drinks. I like Acerola water. The TV commercial is so cute and unique. Of course it is nice. I like soda pops, especially, I like Mitsuya soda pop. When I drink it, I feel refreshed. Also, I like Coca-Cola. Because I have never ever drunk a bottle of Coca-Cola, I want to drink it someday. My mum said to me, "I feel that a bottle of Coca-Cola is good better than a can of Coca-Cola." In addition, I like beers better than cocktails and alcoholic drinks of mixed with soda water or soda pop. (132 words)

My favorite desserts

My favorite desserts are fruits and yoghurts. In every fall, I usually eat Japanese pears and grapes. In last weekend, I ate Japanese pears that were so juicy and sweet. I also like grapes. In every winter, I usually eat oranges and strawberries. I was so crazy about oranges when I was a junior high school student, so I had eaten three oranges in a day. My tongue and fingers became orange. Because my family members also like it, a near relative give a lot of oranges in a big box. I have a memory of oranges. When I was a fourth-year student in an elementary school, I went to Kawachi in Kumamoto on a study tour. I picked up those and those were so sweet. In addition, I eat a cup of yoghurt in every supper. (137 words)

Malons

Today, I took a make up lesson from 9:00 to 10:30 am. It is one of the librarian teaching course. And I came back, there are many malons on a table in my house. My father bought those. My mum steamed those with a steamer for forty minutes. Those are so sweet. In this afternoon, my relatives came. They live is Kengun in Kumamoto City. They brought us Japanese pears. I will go shopping tomorrow!! (75 words)

A shocking event

On 8th October, I took only two classes. After those are finished, I went to 412 to eat lunch with my friends. I put my bag and umbrella, and then I went to a rest room. In the rest room, I dropped my cell phone in a toilet bowl. I washed my cell phone quickly. The display of it was wrong. After I came back 412, I told my friends about my cell phone. They worried me because I came back there so late. I thought that I must eat my lunch, so I took off the lid off. I’m so surprised!! I brought an empty lunch box. I have two lunch boxes. I forgot that my mom said to me, “I can’t make your lunch tomorrow.” in before night. After lunch break is finished, I went to a Docomo shop in downtown by bus. A clerk told me the indemnification. I have sign up it. As a result, I exchanged my cell phone. It cost about 5,000 yen. My parents weren’t angry with me. I won’t put my cell phone into pockets of clothes. (186 words)

The Quest

I read “The Quest”. Biff and Wilma are writing a story in Biff’s room. Biff is writing about Quest. The Wilma’s story is about Ulm, is a beautiful land. Ulm has a rich natural environment. There is a crystal bell in a big cave. When it rung, its note is like music. It tells every animal, every plant and every tree when it is spring or summer. Because the evil Grimlock wants the crystal bell, he is looking for it. Finally, he finds it. He is so happy and he carries it his castle. A small bear follows him. In the sunlight, he doesn’t notice the bear because the bell is so beautiful and he is fascinated with it. Without the bell, snow falls in the summer and flowers are killed by the frost. They are at a loss not only flowers also the people of Ulm. They are sad and unhappy. So, they need the bell certainly.

After Biff listened to Wilma’s story, Biff suggests to Wilma that someone will go quest and try to get the bell. Wilma agrees her suggestion. After that Dad comes in Biff’s room. Biff and Chip has to go the dentist for a check-up. Wilma begins to write her story in Biff’s room. She is going to write the story about a girl brings back the bell. Suddenly, the magic key is glowing!! Wilma is taken into a magic adventure alone!!

She reaches the Land of Ulm. The ground is covered with snow. Grimlock is waiting for her and he is hiding behind a tree and he turns himself into an old woman. When she is walking, he speaks to her. Grimlock asks her about the reason Wilma went to the forest. She says that she will rescue the bell from Grimlock. Grimlock “Then go that way,“ he says. While she is walking on the wet and muddy ground, he is showing her. Suddenly, she sinks into a muddy swamp. She shouts for help. Then a white unicorn goes up to her. It pulls up her with a branch. She rides on the unicorn and the unicorn gallops through the forest. At that very moment Grimlock shoots an arrow at her. After the unicorn stopped, Wilma is given a ring tied to a ribbon from the unicorn that will only give her one wish. It gallops away. She must go on alone. When Wilma walks on the rocky desert, she hears a scream. It is gnome. The gnome is bound the trunk with a long rope. She helps the gnome, the gnome says that he was tied up here by Grimlock. Grimlock was going to feed the gnome his dragon. Suddenly, the dragon is coming, the gnome begins to tremble. The gnome takes out a lemon from his bag because he has known that dragons hate lemons. Wilma begins to peel the lemon. The dragon roars and flies away. The gnome hands her a mirror. She can get rid of basilisk that is worse than the dragon with a mirror. Then the basilisk charges at them. She holds up the mirror and covers her eyes with her arm. The monster’s eyes become terrible, so it dies and turns to a stone. The gnome is breaking it with a hammer. The gnome says that it is going to help you her quest because impressed with her courage. The gnome takes her the Grimlock’s castle. They enter in his castle from a window. They find a room where the bell is hanging. Then Grimlock comes back. The Grimlock says that I am going to feel you to the dragon. She decides to use a wish. Her wish starts to work. , so the bell begins to ring louder and louder. The Grimlock tries to break the bell with a hammer, it don’t break. The Grimlock asks her to stop ringing of the bell. She says that she can stop it, if the Grimlock lets her takes it back to Ulm. The Grimlock agrees with her. So, she and the gnome take it back to Ulm. When it returns, birds sing, flowers. And new leaves grow on the branches of the trees. Ulm has beautiful natures.

The magic key is glowing. She gives the gnome the ring. The gnome cries at a parting. Biff comes back. Wilma gives her book to Biff. (725 words)

The Flying Machine

I read "The Frying Machine". Nadim is at the airport with his father and mother in America. They are going to fly home. But Nadim likes flying, his father doesn’t like flying. When they are sitting down seats in a plane, the steward asks Nadim whether he wants to see the controls. Because he had always wanted to see it, he is so glad. He and Dad are taken the flight deck by the steward. He says that he wants to be a pilot.

After got home, he goes to a Biff and Chip’s house. I think that Anneena is his sister. She also goes there. He tells them about his travelling. Biff and Chip’s mum asks them to help wash up. Nadim and Anneena are only in the room. Suddenly, the magic key is glowing.

It’s a magic in which they travel through a time warp to the far past. When they keep standing on the ground, a man is driving an old car. They talk with a man who was driving the car and another man in front of a barn. There is a strange- looking aeroplane at the side of the barn. They are Henry and Harord, twins. Nadim and Anneena are suspected of being spies by the twins at first. The twins never doubt that they would be the first men to try out the flying machine. Harod is sitting in the flying machine and he starts the engine. Although the propeller begins to turn, the flying machine doesn’t move. Anneena has an idea that they use two pieces wood as the propeller. She thinks that the reason why the flying machine doesn’t move. She thinks that the cause is the propeller. The twins try to change the shape of it. They fix a ramp to the flying machine. Harold starts the engine and the propeller spins round and the aeroplane moves faster and faster. When they think that the machine won’t fly, it zooms up the ramp and as puts on speed. It flies straight up and dives towards the ground. And it hits the ground with a heavy bump, so Harold is thrown out. They are so surprised and run away expect Harold. It hits a big water tank. The waters slop the ground. The wings of the machine snap off, but it doesn’t slow down. The twins ride on the old car and they follow about the flying machine. Nadim and Anneena follow about them. Their parents live on the firm.



At the outside, their mother is hanging the laundry out to dry and their father is watering some vegetables. The flying machine hits the spot where their mum hung the laundry out and their dad’s some vegetables. It still doesn’t stop.


When a woman is paining her house, it hits about the ladder and she fells to the ground. She was sitting down and wears a bucket is filled the paint and she has the paint brush. Finally, the flying machine stops in the middle of the town. It crashes into a statue. There are so many people in the town. Suddenly, an aeroplane fly in the sky. A man is getting on the aeroplane. He is Wilbur Wright, and he and his brother are the first men to fly in the sky. The twins talk about Wright brothers. They load the flying machine onto the car. The magic key begins to glow. After Nadim and Anneena came back, Biff and Chip come in Biff’s room. They washed up such a long times.

Stories of Princes & Princesses

I read “Stories of Princes & Princesses”. But Colin is prince in the Kingdom, he was more clumsy than any other princes. Although they fight dragons, he can’t. One day, he walks in front of a sad princess. Suddenly, she proposes marriage to him. And he meets her father. Her father gives him three tests. In the first test, he is tried to do polite act. Because when the queen is eating meal, he is taking politely to her, so he can’t see the butler. In the second test, but he had to take her out, he looses the royal boat. Then he has to ride the royal horse. After the king looks at him, he says to Colin, “Leave the palace tomorrow.” That night, because he isn’t able to sleep, he is looking at the outside from a window. Suddenly, he is surprised because he hears a scream of the Princess. And he looks down, a man is kidnapping her. He takes a flower of pot which is adorned on the edge of the window. He nails with him, so he falls over. He run to help her, he holds her in his arms. After that the king comes. She tells him Colin’s brave figure. He permits him to marry the princess. He is so happy.

Prue wants to be a princess, but she doesn’t want to marry a prince. The king thins that he has his daughter choose a man in three men. Because she doesn’t like all, her father is angry. “If you won’t marry a prince, you will marry the first man who comes to the castle!” he says. (l5-8, p.14) The very next day, a man who is playing an old violin comes.
He is a beggar. Her father orders the man to marry Prue. The she and he are marries on the spot. But he takes her his home as his wife, she doesn’t want to marry him. She doesn’t want to marry anyone. She does everything because he is very poor. Before she has married him, she is used to servants. One day, he brings some straw in his home. He thinks that they are able to make baskets to sell. But her hands are cut by the straws. He says to her, “Prince Alec is getting married. Perhaps you can work in the castle over the hill.” (l2-5, p.19) Prue works in the castle. Prince Alec takes pity on her, so she gives her some foods. While she goes to home, she passes the ballroom. Princes Alec is giving a speech to his guests. At that very moment he sees her. But she tries to run away, she drops some foods from her apron on a stage. The guests begin to laugh. Princes Alec says to her, “I’d like to dance with you!” (l1, p.23) He reaches for her hand.　But she runs away as she is crying. But he catches with her. At the back of the ballroom, they promise to marry.

Princes Sam is a poor and he live in a tiny castle. He owns only a beautiful rose tree and a lovely nightingale. He falls in love with a rich princess. She is Sara. He sends his beautiful tree and a nightingale. But she is not glad. He has an idea and he goes to her palace and he takes care of the palace pigs. But he misses the lovely songs of nightingale. So, he males a rattle that plays magical tunes. When she heard that, she thinks that she wants it. He says to her, “It costs one hundred kisses”. (l4, p.30) She is going to give him ten kisses. But he doesn’t give up. She has to give in. When the king is on his balcony, he hears giggling. He runs down quickly, he creeps up behind Sara’s maids. He is so angry because his daughter kissed pig boy. Sam has been called “Pig boy.” Sam and Sara have to leave there. He takes her his tiny castle. She sometimes waters the rose tree.

In the country, there is a prince who is the rudest, dirtiest and smelliest. He is Percy and lives alone in his dirty old castle and he doesn’t like children, animals. And he has no friends. His soldiers also call him Smelly Perce when Perce is not in a place. Because he is a very lonely prince, he thinks that he will capture a princess and marry her. When he grabbed a princess and he takes her home. He locks her in a tower, she has a fiancé. It is Hurry and he tries to rescue her but he can’t get into the tower. When he is worried about her, a mole speaks to him. According to the mole’s talk, Percy smashed its homes and moles are going to get Princes Hurry into the castle. The moles continue to dig all night. They build a tunnel. Princes Hurry goes through the tunnel, he finds Percy and the Princess. Although Percy tries to stop Harry, he can’t because his sword is so rusty. After that Harry’s soldiers decide Percy need a bath. Percy is fun and people are friendlier. Harry rescues the princess and marries her. Percy is invited to their wedding.


I thought that Prince Harry is so nice and neat. If I am in his position, I won’t be concerned and invite my wedding. He is excellent!!

My favorite dishes

I will introduce my favorite dishes, noodles and hot foods. Although there are so many kinds of dishes in the world, I like Chinese noodles and pastas. Survival Adventure

I read "Survival Adventure". This is an interesting story. Main characters are Chip, Biff and Wilf. Chip and Wilf set up a tent in a garden of Chip's house. They have been wanted to live in the tent, so they bring a survival kit. Those are a first- aid case, some chocolate, and a stuffed toy bear. Because it looks like rain, Biff brings an colorful umbrella. In this evening, it rains. They can't live there, they set up a new tent with a chair, a drawer and a large cloth in Chip's bedroom. And Biff goes to his bedroom and she talks with them, the magic key is glowing. A survival adventure is going to start!!

At that very moment there is a girl in a wood. She is Amy, she is on a long journey with her family. They stack everything in wagon train. Her father worries about her, so he said that you must not go anywhere. However, she goes to pick some blue berries. In the wood, she loses her way. And she is walking, she catch her right leg on a trap. She shouts out " Help me, somebody."(p.9 l.4-5)

At just time, Little Fox looks for honey in the wood. Although Little Fox looks for it, Little Fox can't find it. Little Fox knows the reason. A brown bear took all the honey. Little Fox is walking as he watches for the bear.

Because Little Fox hears Amy's voice, Little Fox runs to her help. But Little Fox tries to get it off, Little Fox can't. Also, the bear hears her voice. Because he doesn't like people in his part of the wood, he looks for her.

Chip, Wilf and Biff reach the wood with their packs. The children try to help Amy. When they open the trap, Amy hurt her leg. The first-aid case is useful. Biff and Little Fox try to break the trap with a big rock. Suddenly, the bear appears. Biff opens the umbrella and spin it round and round. The bear is so surprised and he runs away. And it rains, so the umbrella is so useful.

After that, Little Fox catch a fish with his hand!!!!! Because everybody doesn't have a fire, Little Fox make a fire with a bow and stick. Biff and Amy make a shelter and Little Fox cooks the fish. They eat it, the blueberries and the chocolate. Amy begins to tell her parents. While is talking, she begins to cry. Suddenly, Biff grabs the umbrella and opens it and three men comes. Biff is so surprised. One of men is Little Fox's father. Little Fox is so laughs. And many people come. They are relatives of Little Fox. Amy tells them her parents.

The next morning, Little Fox father finds the wagon train of Army's family. She can meet her family again. Her mother is crying. And her family have been stuck the wagon for three days. They try to pull the wagons. After that, the wagon trains can ran. After they saw her family off, the magic key begins to glow. Biff gives Little Fox the umbrella.

The next day, the children set up the tent. Because Biff wants to make Chip and Wilf laugh, she thinks. Floppy's silhouette fall in the tent.

Summer vacation

I met Misa with my friends in September. First, we took pictures in Festa. Next, we went to Mac and we talked a lot of things. Especially, Misa's story was so interesting. We enjoyed talking two hour there. At nine, we come back to houses. Yuko and I walked to Kotsu-center. While we waited buses, we talked many kinds of things. I enjoyed!!!!! I have pleasant memories of elementary school, so I will introduce my memory of rope jumping. When I was a student in lower grades, I had liked rope jumping. When I was a fourth year student, I was absorbed in jumping rope. At that time, double skip was so popular among students of our grade. Because I wanted to be able to jump double skip, I practiced hard. I practiced it after lunch and school. I have a friend who had already jumped double skip, so she taught me secrets. It is concerned with Shinsengumi. When the historical drama “Shinsengumi” was broadcasted on TV, I watched it every time. I want to go there early.

I read “Up the Dizzy Mountain”. The characters are Sam, Pip, Ben, Jojo and Mouse. Sam pushes a button that is written “DM”. DM is short the Dizzy Mountain. After that, they are in Dizzy Mountain. The country is covered with many trees and snow. A huge castle is on a top of mountain. But Pip is wearing a T-shirt, the others are wearing sweaters. In addition, Ben has his little packet that is written “Sneezing Power”. Sam has her pot of Slippery Slide Cream and Jojo has a tool that he can wipe dust. While everyone expects Pip talk, Pip plays in the snow.




Ben explains a thing to Pip. They didn’t come to play, they have big problem and they must solve it. When they are talking, they hear a cheery voice. It is a huge white bear’s. A white bear is printed on Pip’s T-shirt. The bear’s name is Buddy and it shakes Pip’s hand. The others are overpowered. Pip introduces Buddy others and they also shake Buddy’s hand. Buddy brings them to a shack. The shack is a Reindeer Lady. They are walking onto the ice. When they reach the shack, she gives them some hot broth. Buddy gives them some blankets. There is a stove and a hammock in the shack. Mouse asks the Reindeer Lady the reason she is called “the Reindeer Lady”. She will show the reason after they go outside. The children borrow some coats, boots and gloves from her. The boots size is big for Pip, so he stuffs the boots with newspapers.




They go to outside, reindeers stand up. When the Reindeer Lady gives a little whistle, the biggest reindeer comes. The reindeer is Rusty and wears a bell around its neck. It will take them to the castle. It needs some cube sugar to run. Buddy brings a heavy sledge and some blankets in the sledge. Buddy and the Reindeer Lady fix the biggest reindeer the sledge. The children jump into the sledge and Buddy takes a rein.




When Pip sings his song, the children join with his song. On the way, sledges appear. Those are pulled by wolves. It is Gungees. While Rusty is running, the children are thrown out lie down in the snow. Then Buddy finds a cave and they enter in the cave. Gungees comes. Buddy guards the children.
A leader of Gungee said “Boss don’t want you! Wants children!”(p.25 line 13) Buddy said “You’ll have to get past me first,” then the leader throws a snow ball at Buddy. It hits Buddy’s right ear. Then Ben thinks of an idea. He runs up to Buddy. He takes the packet out. He opens it and wolves begin to sneeze. They can’t attack at all.




In the cave, the elevator appears. The parting time comes. Pip gives Buddy big a hug and the children take the elevator to their homes. After they reached their homes, Pip crossed because he couldn't make any snowman in Dizzy Mountain. 　　


It is an interesting story. I thought that Buddy is so grave and I like it!!!!!

My favorite clothing

I like natural fashion style. I usually put on a skirt or a dress. When I was a junior high school student, I did not wear those in holidays. I also like punts so much. I usually buy clothes in Youme town and I have two favorite clothes shops there. First, it is CREF DE SOL. There is an affiliated shop in Kotu-center. It is RIO. CREF DE　SOL is the first floor of Youme town and it has many kinds of items. Second, it is Honeys. The shop is the third floor and we can buy clothes cheap. In addition, I have point cards, so I can save points. Also, I often read fashion magazines in a library of this school.

A New Classroom

I read “A New Classroom”. Some people put a red fence across the playground. A lorry and a digger come to school. Students are surprised because they don’t know anything. Some men are digging a long trench. They like the digger. They come back to their classroom and they try to find out about a new classroom.

Mrs. May and some students go outside and Mrs. May takes a photograph of the digger and they see the blocks.

After that, a crane comes to the school. It lifts the new classroom over the wall. Mrs. May takes a photograph of the crane. Then Biff shouts to her but she crosses her. And it puts the classroom on the blocks. And it puts the roof on the classroom. Biff shouts to her again. Biff and Mrs. May go to the back of new classroom. It is upside down. And the crane puts the class and the roof right position.

After that, students go inside. And Wilf open the door, the place is the toilet!!

The Whatsit

I read “The Whatsit”. One day, Mum and Dad are painting the kitchen and the ceiling. And they pull the carpet, Mum finds a trap door. She opens it, they can see stairs. They have a cellar.

They go into the dark cellar. And Dad turns on a light, Kipper wears an old sheet and he imitates a ghost. And they find a thing. Nobody knows what it is.

And they carry out it, Wilma and Wilf come. They also don’t know what it is. When two merchants come and they try to load it onto a truck, a woman comes. She works in a museum and she thinks that is so important thing. She gave Dad some money and she brings it at the museum.

After few days, the family go to the museum to see it. The sign is written “SWIFT or wool winder”. It is on a table and it is wrapped wool by a mannequin.
Dad and Mum give the children a snooker table. They play billiards.

I think that cellars are characteristic of American houses. I want to play billiards because I’ve never played.
